Prayer of Manasseh (duplicate copy)
O Sovereign of all,
God of our ancestors,
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
You made the heavens and the earth
in beauty and in power.
You set the seas in their place,
commanded the stars to burn,
and gave breath to every living being.
Before You,
even the hosts of heaven tremble.
Your glory cannot be measured.
Your mercy cannot be counted.
But I—
I have sinned beyond counting.
My sins are higher than my head,
and my guilt heavier than the mountains.
I have provoked Your anger.
I have trusted false gods.
I have spilled innocent blood.
I have built idols with my own hands
and bowed before what I carved.
I have rejected Your voice
and hardened my heart.
But now—
now I bow low.
Not because I deserve forgiveness,
but because I have seen who You are.
You are patient.
You are kind.
You delight in mercy.
You lift those who fall.
You wash the unclean.
You breathe life into the broken.
So I cry to You,
from this chain, from this pit, from this exile:
O God of my ancestors,
do not cast me away.
I am unworthy,
but I know You are good.
I return to You
with all my heart.
Receive me,
not because I have earned it,
but because You promised
to never reject a contrite spirit.
I will praise You forever,
all the days You give me.
For You rescue not the righteous only—
but the ruined who repent.
This is not just Manasseh’s prayer—
It is the voice of every soul who has gone too far
and wondered if God still listens.
And the answer?
“Yes. He hears.
He does not shame the broken.
He restores them.”
This prayer reminds us:
“You are never too far
to be brought home.”
