Mandaean Ginza Rabba — Prayer Extracts
[Archive witness: a comparative late-antique text, preserved as historical evidence, not as doctrine or scripture.]
In the name of the Great Life, the Life that is from the beginning. Praised be the great Life, the Lord of light, who is exalted above all works. [Text missing]
From the place of light I came,
from you, my eternal dwelling.
The Life supports the Life;
the Life finds its own.
Praised be the Life.
Health and victory be upon all the sons of light who love the name of the Great Life, and who walk in truth; their soul ascends to the world of light, to the place from which it came, and the worlds of darkness shall not hold it. [Line damaged]
