Fragments of the prayers of the masbuta, the baptism in living water, by which the Mandaean is made pure.

You are sealed with the seal of the Great Life; you are baptized with the baptism of the living water; the name of the Life and the name of the light are pronounced over you. [Line damaged]

purify the soul,

and lift it to its dwelling.
