Priestly Blessing Traditions from Qumran

May the LORD bless you and keep you;
may the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
may the LORD lift up his face toward you
and grant you peace.
And the expanded form spoken by the Instructor over the faithful: May the LORD bless you from his holy dwelling, and open for you the everlasting fountain that never fails; may he be gracious to you with the spirit of holiness and with knowledge, and guard you from all evil; may he lift up his merciful face toward you, for an everlasting peace. And against the lot of Belial the Instructor would say: Cursed be you in all your guilty works of wickedness; may God make you a terror by the hand of those who take vengeance, and may no peace be yours by the mouth of all who hold the covenant. [Line damaged]
