Gospel of Egyptians - Greek fragments

Yeshua said,

“I came from the silence of the Father —

the One who is without beginning,

without end,

without name.”

And His disciples asked,

“Where did You come from, O Anointed One,

and where are You going?”

He answered,

“I came from the place where all is stillness —

where thought has not yet risen,

and where the Name is unspoken.

I go to return there.”

Salome said,

“Who are You, my Lord?

Did I come from You?

And will I return to You?”

Yeshua said,

“I am the One who exists from the Undivided.

I was given to those who are worthy

to receive the fullness.

You came from Me, Salome,

and you will return to Me

when the two become one again.”

Yeshua spoke of three powers:

The Silence of the Father — the first stillness, without division

The Breath of the Mother — the power of birth and wisdom

The Word of the Son — the one who names what was unspoken

He said,

“The Father is silence.

The Mother is motion.

The Son is speech.

But all are One in Light.”

Salome asked,

“How long shall death reign?

When will the womb be still?”

Yeshua answered,

“When you no longer make male and female,

when you no longer divide,

when the two become One —

then you will see the reign of the Living One.”

The disciples asked,

“What is the time of the end?”

He replied,

“There is no time where I came from.

But here, time divides the light.

The fullness will come

when the light returns to its source

and the silence is no longer hidden.”

Yeshua said,

“Blessed is the one

who has not brought forth death.

Blessed is the one

whose soul returns to stillness

and does not boast in what perishes.

Let those who have ears, hear.

Let those who seek, find.”
