The key teaching to include
The soul passes through powers such as:
Darkness
Desire
Ignorance
The Zeal / Excitement of Death
The Kingdom of the Flesh
The Foolish Wisdom of the Flesh
Wrathful Wisdom
The meaning should be framed like this:
The soul is not merely travelling through heavenly geography. It is being stripped of false identity. It passes through the powers that once ruled human consciousness: darkness, desire, ignorance, fleshly identity, false wisdom, wrath, and death. The soul awakens, recognizes each power, refuses its claim, and enters rest.
This is the document I would replace/expand first.
This is the voice of one
who sat at the feet of the Anointed,
who walked with Him,
wept for Him,
and was the first to see Him
risen from the grave.
This is not the voice of religion,
but the voice of remembrance.
She speaks of what others forgot —
that the journey is inward,
that peace is found
by conquering what is not you.
Let the one who has ears,
hear.
(Fragment begins mid-conversation)
“…That is why the Anointed One said:
‘Let your peace be strong within you.
Make no law apart from what I have shown you —
lest you be bound by it.’”
Then Mary spoke:
“He has prepared us,
and planted the seed of truth within us.
It is our task to walk in trust.”
Andrew said,
“Say what you will —
but I do not believe the Master spoke to her privately.
Surely He would not have revealed such hidden things
to a woman.”
Peter added,
“Did He really speak with her
apart from us?
Should we all turn and listen to her now?”
Then Mary wept.
And Levi said,
“Peter, you have always been quick to anger.
If the Master made her worthy,
who are we to reject her?
Surely the Anointed One knew her deeply.
That is why He loved her more than us.”
Then they were silent.
And they began to go forth
to proclaim the teaching
and the peace of the Anointed One.
(Mary begins recounting a vision she received after the Master’s departure)
“I saw the Master in a vision.
I said to Him,
‘Master, I see You now in this moment.’
And He said,
‘Blessed are you,
for you did not waver at the sight of Me.
Where the mind is, there is the treasure.’
Then I asked,
‘How does one see You in the hidden place?’
He said,
‘There is no seeing in flesh
nor hearing in sound.
It is through the heart
that the child of Light returns.’”
The Soul's Ascent
Mary continued:
“And I saw the soul rise up —
leaving behind the world.
It passed through the first power:
The Power of Darkness.
It asked,
‘Who are you to escape me?’
The soul said,
‘I was born from light.
I belong to the One above you.
You have no power over me.’”
Then it came to the second power:
Desire.
Desire cried out,
‘I did not see you fall!
Why do you rise now?’
The soul answered,
‘I saw you —
but you did not see me.
I was not yours then,
and I am not yours now.’
Then came the third power:
Ignorance.
It said,
‘Do not judge me!’
But the soul said,
‘I have seen you
for what you are —
a shadow with no root.’”
Then the soul rose
beyond all powers,
and was at rest.
This is what was remembered
of what Mary said.
Not all believed her.
Not all understood her.
But she spoke
from the place where the soul rests in the Light.
And the Master said,
“Where the mind is,
there is the treasure.”
