Gospel of Hebrews
Gospel of Hebrews
And it came to pass,
when the Anointed One rose from the waters,
the heavens were opened,
and the Set-Apart Breath descended
in the form of a dove.
She came to Him and said:
“My Son,
I have waited for You
in all the generations.
Now I will rest upon You.”
And Yeshua was filled with her joy.
He walked in her power.
And from that day, He was revealed.
Yeshua said,
“My Mother, the Set-Apart Breath,
took me by one of my hairs
and carried me to Mount Tabor.”
(This saying was preserved by Origen; “hair” symbolized submission, as with prophets carried by the Spirit.)
The Master said to His disciples,
“Go to James the Just.
For I have appeared to him first —
not in a dream,
but in truth.
I embraced him.
I broke the bread with him.
And I gave him the message of peace.”
“Whoever wonders
shall reign,
and whoever reigns
shall rest.”
(A saying reminiscent of the Gospel of Thomas; quoted by Clement.)
The Set-Apart Spirit,
who is wisdom and mother,
came and rested on Him
as a bridal garment.
From that day forward,
He moved not in flesh alone,
but in full unity
with the Light from above.
The Anointed One said:
“No one can inherit
unless they are born
of the Breath of the Living One.
What is born of flesh is flesh,
but what is born of Spirit is Spirit.”
(This echoes John 3:6 and was likely part of shared oral tradition among Hebrews and Greeks alike.)
And it is said,
that a hidden scroll was kept among them —
not read aloud,
but whispered to the faithful.
It spoke not of rules,
but of the union between soul and Breath.
They said:
“The kingdom is not in word alone,
but in resting upon the Anointed.”
Though its body is scattered,
its soul remains.
This gospel lives
wherever the Spirit hovers,
wherever the waters are parted,
wherever the Son walks
and the Breath rests.
