Temple Scroll — Prayer, Purity, and Liturgical Material
[Liturgical and purity extracts touching prayer and sacred time, drawn from the Temple Scroll; the great body of its law and its building plan is filed under its own number.]
On the appointed feasts you shall present the offerings before the LORD in their seasons, and the priests shall make atonement for the people; and the people shall rejoice before the LORD in the place where he chooses to set his name. [Text missing]
And concerning purity: whoever touches a dead body shall be unclean seven days; he shall purify himself with the water of cleansing on the third day and on the seventh, and then he shall be clean, and may enter the holy place. No unclean thing shall come into the city of the sanctuary, that the dwelling of the LORD in their midst not be defiled. [Line damaged]
You shall keep the feast of new wine, and the feast of new oil, and the feast of the wood offering, each in its appointed time, with thanksgiving and rejoicing before the LORD; for he has given the harvest in its season and the rain in its time. [Text missing]
