Sapiential Work C
[Practical maxims on whom to entrust with various tasks; preserved in fragments.]
Do not put a sluggard in charge of a task that must be done with care, for he will not do your work. Do not send a grumbler to gather money, for he will twist your purpose to his own. Do not trust a man of crooked heart with judgment, for he cannot weigh a matter rightly. [Text missing]
But a wise-hearted man, receive his counsel; a man of understanding, learn from him; a man of knowledge and a discerning spirit — to him entrust your affairs, and you will not be ashamed. A faithful man is a treasure, and there is no price for a true friend. [Line damaged]
