Quadratus — The Surviving Fragment

[The one surviving fragment of the Apology of Quadratus, presented to the emperor.]

But the works of our Savior were always present, for they were true: those who were healed, those who rose from the dead—who were not only seen in the moment of healing or rising, but were always present; and not only while the Savior was on earth, but also after his departure they remained for a long while, so that some of them have lived even into our own time.
