Epistle to the Laodiceans
Epistle to the Laodiceans
We now conclude the Writings of the Way: Early Discipleship with the final scroll:
Brothers and sisters in Laodicea,
grace be to you
and peace from God the Father
and the Anointed Yeshua, our Master.
I thank the Father always
for your faith and love —
for your hope that endures,
and for the joy that shines from your gathering.
Stand firm in the truth you have received.
Let the Anointed dwell in your hearts by trust.
Let your lives be rooted in His love.
Do not be moved by vain words.
Do not be shaken by those who walk in pride.
But remain steadfast,
holding the word of life
like a lamp in the darkness.
Pray always,
with gladness and reverence.
Let your words be seasoned with grace,
and your deeds done in peace.
Receive the teaching that is from above —
not only with your ears,
but in your hearts.
Encourage one another daily.
Lift the hands that hang low.
Bear with one another in humility.
Give thanks in everything.
And may the Anointed One,
who lives and reigns forever,
establish you in every good work
until the day of His appearing.
Amen.
