Project teaching — not an ancient witness

1.1.5 Preface

This project was born from a tension — a deep reverence for Scripture, and a growing sense that the way we’ve been taught to read it… isn’t how it was meant to be read.

For years, I wrestled with the gaps between what the Bible says in its original languages, and what many modern translations have turned it into. I felt the dissonance between a gospel of life and systems obsessed with punishment. Between a God of mercy and images of eternal torment. Between Jesus, who healed and restored — and doctrines that fractured and condemned.

I began to study.

Not with an agenda — but with hunger.

I turned to ancient manuscripts. I consulted Hebrew and Greek scholars. I wrestled with early Christian writings that never made it into the canon. I sat with the raw, unfiltered meanings of words we thought we understood: hell, wrath, judgment, baptism, spirit, kingdom.

What emerged over time wasn’t a new Bible — but a restored one.

A Bible faithful to its roots. Faithful to the Spirit that breathes through it. Faithful to the God who, from the very beginning, has always been about life, restoration, and reunion.

This book — and the restored translation that follows it — is not the final word. It’s an invitation to look again. To unlearn fear and rediscover trust. To return to the story that never stopped burning beneath the surface.

Not everything in these pages will feel familiar. But my prayer is that it will feel true.

If you’re willing to let go of what religion taught you, you might just hear the voice of the One who was speaking all along.

Let those who have ears to hear… hear.
