Project teaching — not an ancient witness

1.1.5 Preface

This project arises from a deep reverence for Scripture and a desire to encounter it more closely as it was originally given.

For too long, layers of tradition, translation choices, and later interpretations have sometimes obscured the heart of God’s message. The Scriptures speak of a God of mercy and restoration, of life and reconciliation, of a Kingdom marked by healing and hope. Yet many have encountered a message clouded by fear, punishment, and division.

With humility and care, this work returns to the ancient witnesses — the Hebrew and Greek texts, the earliest manuscripts, and the broader voices of the early Christian writings. The goal is not to create something new, but to restore what has been preserved: a faithful witness to the God who has always been working to redeem, renew, and draw His people back to Himself.

What emerges is not a replacement for the Bible, but a restored presentation of it — one that seeks to be true to the original languages, the historical context, and above all, to the life-giving Spirit who inspired it. It honours the God of Scripture: the Father who pursues the lost, the Son who heals and restores, and the Spirit who brings freedom and life.

This restored translation is offered as an invitation. An invitation to look again. To set aside fear and rediscover trust. To hear afresh the voice of the Good Shepherd who calls His sheep by name.

Not every passage will feel familiar, but the prayer of this work is that it will feel true to the heart of God. May those who have ears to hear, hear the message that has always been at the centre: God’s relentless love, His power to restore, and His desire for all to come home.

The Bible Restored Returning to the ancient witnesses. Listening for the voice of the One who speaks life.
