[The Prophet like Moses]

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And whoever will not listen to my words that he speaks in my name, I myself will require it of him.

[The Star out of Jacob — the Ruler]

The oracle of one who hears the words of God and knows the knowledge of the Most High: I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star shall come forth out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the brow of Moab and tear down all the sons of tumult.

[The Blessing of Levi — the Priest]

Of Levi he said: Give to Levi your Thummim, and your Urim to your faithful one, whom you tested at Massah and contended with at the waters of Meribah; who said of his father and mother, “I have not seen them,” and did not acknowledge his brothers or know his own children. For they kept your word and guarded your covenant. They shall teach your judgments to Jacob and your law to Israel; they shall set incense before you and whole offerings on your altar. Bless, O LORD, his strength, and accept the work of his hands.

[The Curse upon the Builder]

And Joshua finished giving praise and thanks, and said: Cursed be the man who rebuilds this city; at the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest shall he set up its gates. And behold, an accursed man, a son of Belial, shall arise to be a fowler’s snare to his people and a ruin to all his neighbors. [Meaning uncertain]
