Know the times that are coming, and the end that is appointed; for God has set a measure to every age, and a day of reckoning for every deed. In that day the righteous will shine, and the wicked will be brought low; the upright will inherit the land, and the workers of iniquity will be cut off. [Text missing]

The wise will understand,

and the discerning will keep the way;

but the wicked will not understand,

for the light is hidden from them.

Blessed is the one who waits and endures

to the appointed time of the end.

For wickedness will pass away like smoke, and be no more; and righteousness will be revealed like the sun, and knowledge will fill the earth. [Line damaged]
