Trimorphic Protennoia

[A revelation of the First Thought who appears in three forms — as Voice, as Speech, and as Word; preserved with damage.]

I am the First Thought, the thought that dwells in the light. I am the movement that is in the All, in whom the All takes its stand; the firstborn among those who came to be; she who exists before the All. I move in every creature; I am the life of my own foreknowledge that dwells within. I cry out in everyone, and they know that a seed dwells within.

I came down the first time as a Voice, the sound of the Thought; and I put order into what was without order. I came the second time as a Speech, and I gave shape to those who had taken shape, and I spoke in a hidden way. I came the third time as the Word, and I appeared in the dwelling of my own; I put on the likeness of each, and the powers did not know me; and I passed through their midst, and freed my own from the bondage in which they were held. I said to them: Awake, you who sleep, and remember that you heard, and recall your root, which is myself, the merciful; guard yourselves from the powers and the demons of chaos, and rise up. I am the light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. I gave to my own the holy garment, the five seals, that they should not be held by death, but ascend to the place from which they came, into the light. [Text missing]
