Song of Songs (Restored - Reframed)

Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth —

for His love is better than wine.

His name is oil poured out;

the virgins long for Him.

Draw me after You —

Let us run together.

The King has brought me into His chambers.

We will rejoice and remember His love.

Arise, My love,

My beautiful one, and come away.

For behold, the winter is past,

the rain is over and gone.

The flowers appear on the earth,

the time of singing has come.

Let Me see your face.

Let Me hear your voice —

for your voice is sweet,

and your face is lovely.

On my bed by night

I sought the one my soul loves.

I searched, but did not find Him.

I will rise and go through the city —

through the streets and squares I will seek Him.

When I found Him,

I held Him and would not let Him go.

You are a garden locked,

a spring sealed.

Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranate,

with spices and holy fragrance.

Awake, O north wind,

and come, O south wind!

Blow upon my garden —

let its fragrance rise.

Let my Beloved come into His garden

and eat its choice fruits.

I slept,

but my heart was awake.

The voice of my Beloved!

He knocks:

“Open to Me, My sister,

My dove,

My perfect one.”

I rose to open to Him —

but He had withdrawn.

My soul failed when He spoke.

I searched for Him,

but I did not find Him.

The watchmen beat me.

They stripped my veil.

O daughters of Zion,

if you find my Beloved,

tell Him:

“I am faint with love.”

Who is this

shining like the dawn,

beautiful as the moon,

radiant as the sun,

awesome as an army with banners?

You are altogether beautiful, My love —

there is no flaw in you.

Turn your eyes from Me,

for they overwhelm Me.

Place Me like a seal over your heart,

like a seal on your arm.

For love is as strong as death,

its jealousy as fierce as the grave.

Its flames are flames of fire,

the very fire of the Lord.

Many waters cannot quench love,

nor can rivers wash it away.

Make haste, my Beloved,

and be like a gazelle

upon the mountains of spices.
